The reading maze of visiting Newcastle

!!!!!!!!!!!! The reading mazes of Visiting Newcastle!!!!!!!!!!!!

1.What kinds of reading skills can be practised with Reading Mazes?

I think reading skill that can be practised with Reading Maze is reading for the main idea.

2. Can you think of any other skills that can be practised with the
program?

Yes, in my opinion I think this Maze can be practised with many skills, for example;
· Listening skill, the learners can listen this Maze then, they answer the question.
· Writing skill, the learners listen or read the passage, and then they try to answer the question by writing. I think this way can help them to practice their writing skills to be better.

3. Can you use any of these activities with your learners? Why or why not?

Yes, because I think there are many useful information that the teachers can use to teach the learners, for example;
· This information can teach the learners about life style in Newcastle.
· This information can teach the learners how to live in Newcastle.
· This information can teach the leaner about the popular activities that people in Newcastle like to do.

4. What kinds of problems are likely to occur if you use the activities with your learners?

I think, the problems that will be likely to occur are the learners cannot understand the passage because the vocabularies are difficult and they cannot understand how to answer the question. Moreover, the long passage always make the learners are bored to read that bring them lazy to study.

5. What can you do to solve the problem?

I think the way to solve the problems are ; the teachers have to teach the important vocabularies before the learners start their reading and the teachers also have to explain the learners to understand the question. Moreover, the teachers have to adapt their passages to be interesting.
